Pro Charger F1-R

ATI ProCharger F1-R (R is for Reversed for mounting in front of motor or in boats etc.) I have no
idea where that Ericsson mobile phone is today but you get the idea of the intake size...
Why the choise of F-1 then? Take a look at ATI ProCharger's chart: www.procharger.com/models

Pro Charger F1-R after polishing by Tomas Ödlund. Much more fun isn't it?

Thore grabs the big drill. We've decided to make a steel support to the crank pulley since we don't
believe that three bolts into the aluminium pulley will hold the abuse of the force.

We're after 52 mm to a perfect fit on the Callies crank snout. So first a 51 mm drill and the a cutter.

Trust a micrometer to make it perfect. The last hundreds is gone with a grinding cloth while rotating.

The last step before the Blackout Pulley Support is ready to go! Thanks Thore!

You know it is a good fit when it's difficult to mount it. It must be perfect aligned before it works.
Actually Thore had to make another one when I started to use Crank Trigger because the
trigger wheel goes in here between the damper and the pulley and builds 9 mm. So I
needed a support with a longer snout.

This 77 teeth aluminium pulley is going nowhere!

So HOW will it be mounted in the Impala SS? Well let's begin
with some cradboard - God's gift to the Hot Rodder.

When engine in place it's time to locate WHERE the supercharger should sit. With a help of a pair of
folding rulers taped to the crank pulley I found out the maximum sector space needed for the belt.

"The Laser Man" made a first test of the mounting bracket in 3 mm steel. Then it was made in Mechal.

1891 gram (1,891 kg) is very light for that much Dural and Mechal 7075 aluminium...just 4.16 lb

Much more...
