The Man to beat in the Street Class - Tore Bergström in his fabulous 1958 Impala! VCET is a local cup
on 1/8 mile tracks at small airfields and closed off industrial roads.
The cup has a couple of different
classes with locked indexes.
The Street class has an 8.90 seconds index.

My brother Björn Envall and my father-in-law Thore Rooth, probably discussing clay art or wine making.
It seems to be more time for socializing at these small races than at the bigger ones. And socializing
is one of the most important ingredients in dragracing isn't it?

If the traction sucks you can at least do a good burnout for the people. The power of nitrous is very
instant and it is very difficult not to lose traction on non-prepared asphalt. I ran the Modified class which
has an 8.20 index. All my spinnings didn't get me a better ET than 8.26 (to be compared to 7.92 at
prepared Mantorp). I lasted to second round.
