Cloud factory. How much do you want?
The big question for the first race of the year was - will the new blower belt set up work? Yes, it did.
But 396 Jesus was still coughing down the quartermile and performance was only 11,3 - 11,4's @ 120's

It was a lot of work in the hunt for the bug!
We changed a lot. Less gap, from 0.6 to 0.4 mm. Isolated the ignition cables
even more. Changed coil. And alternator. New battery. Still no improvements.

Tony Döbrösi has joined Blackout Full Size Racing as a race mechanic and is also often a helping hand
at the garage. Really he's like Houdini, he changed all 8 spark plugs in 40 minutes!! After that we call
him Tony Tight. He works at AGA Cryo. Tommy Olsson also works at AGA.
Without AGA, Swedish drag racing had been less fun. Jäääz!

Sweden - Italy 1-1 in the European Soccer Championship!

Kids in all ages like to bar-b-que hot dogs.

Saturday. We had to go into the city to buy another of those awful tents that we once said that we never would buy again.
Just to be able to work with the SS during the rain, and yes it worked. But the tent of course destroyed itself. Again.
But now we will never buy that tent again! After this race we bought a BIG 3 x 9 meter tent.

My wonderful wife Agneta. We've just had an Italian anti pasti dish. Axel is sleeping. It's raining cats and
dogs outside, warm inside. We think this is one of the best sides of going drag racing. Small adventures.

One of the major changes on the car this year is a 4L80E built controlled by TCI/FAST unit just like the 4L60E was. The
1:st gear is longer but it seemed to work very well, but since the engine is out of tune I can't tell for sure. Doesn't feel
right to write 11.41 on the window. When I hit a redlight here in second round I was relieved for the sake of the engine.

Good friend Patrick Wikström couldn't resist to entering in his hometown race even if the Pro Mod class wasn't invited.
He didn't use full power on his low 7's but eventually won the class Top Doorslammer. Congratulations!
Patrick and his crewmembers Tommy "Aga" Olsson and Thore - and me - are soon moving together with our cars
in a big nice garage Down by the Riverside. And we already call it "Best Damn Garage In Town"

Former hardcore streetracer Patrick always talks about a Hemi Super Bee for the street with the same
set up of an intercooled ProCharger as mine. Concentrate on the European Pro Mod Champs please! =)

My sponsors were there as always, Falck Towing Company! They always take me home after the races. Always.
This time because a valve adjusting nut let go in the last run.

Yes I know. I'm too strong or too stupid. Probably a combo...

(More of this at the tech pages when they're done!)
