A little vanity

When changing to the smooth bumpers in 2003 I wanted to have the G2 spoiler which is said to be a
GM prototype spoiler. When choosing spoiler for the Impala SS in 1993 they decided between these two.
So imagination tells me that if the Impala SS had continued in production, this G2 spoiler probably
had been part of a facelift. Love the original spoiler also, but this one is a little more...
I bought mine from Geoff at Lowriders in BC Canada.

It isn't easy to loose the original spoiler. It will become a violent struggle before you'll see the sticker.

First you must locate the screws from underneath the lid and then you'll need to really bend the spoiler
to get the glue to expand so you can use a knife to cut it free.

The fit of the G2 is really awful! It's made of two pieces "glued" together with plastics. I had the help from
boat builder Peter Eile who simply tore the two pieces apart by hand, threw away the inner lid-piece
and then found that the outside-piece had a very good fit on lid! Peter used a strong silicone to glue the
spoiler piece to the lid and he also screwed and riveted it. "It will never get loose...it's one piece now"

Third known Impala SS spoiler - the one with a function, but it's less SS!
