However, since I found a short oil filter that I could squeeze into its place on the engine block, there was
no need for an external oil filter anymore. So the oil cooler was also skipped.

This is why I must sell my Meziere electric LT1 water pump. The
new belt orbit need that space - where I now will have this redish
aluminium plate with Impala-logo instead. For circulation I am looking
into another pump design.
