TWO FUELS - TWO TANKS

For me, the easiest way to use two fuels is to have two separate tanks and two
separate fuel systems.
This SS tank will keep on carrying 98 octane for everyday driving and to the
races. At the races we will
switch to 108 RON octane race fuel in a new fuel cell and also switch to another
pump and system.
So a lot of things will happen underneath here. Disassembling, washing, grinding,
welding and painting.

The new home of my RCI fuel cell! There are a lot to do here, not only give
it a black paint. Roomy, still...

I wanted the fuel cell to sit on aluminium brackets, there's no room underneath
to cut in trunk floor
to sink the cell's sump down, because I'm keeping the stock tank. Stainless
brackets weighed
almost 1 kilogram so I decided to lighten them by drilling...it took time!

The stainless brackets welded underneath between luggage floor and stock tank
will hold the fuel cell.

This is how it finally sits in the brackets.

My pump and filter are AN-12 so I needed to change to a larger fitting. And
hole of course.

Just curious of how it looks inside. A lot of screwing...

Had to unscrew all brackets'n'stuff to be able to take away the three pieces
of foam. Later I deleted the
foam for good, since I noted that it dyed the gasoline black! Then I started
thinking when does it
melt down to a Campbell Soup and block the filter or even worse - an injector?
Go away bad bad foam!
After some polish and paint it became quite racy wouldn't you say?
