Let's get even more stuffed up inside. (This is only used on track)

Just a quick hang of the Stroud net to see what it will be like. Hm...more horizontal level...hm...

This is the way it's gonna be, after a tip from Premier Hater of Bad Solutions - Mr Al Holt. I think it was
like this, half of the idea anyway. If you faint after a roll over and the safety safari approaches the
drivers door - they must quickly understand how to release this ultra cool safety device
(they must of course destroy the driver's window but I guess they have to get me a new one??? =)

Found these parts at the Boat department at Biltema - Hot Rod Heaven. Stainless and
inexpensive. Today was Sunday but Biltema is open 7 days a week. Thanks.
But...well...now reading the rules...NO SNAP HOOKS ARE ALLOWED...LOWER NET BAR MUST BE
PERMANENTLY ATTACHED TO ROLL CAGE. I wish I had read that on Saturday =)
I'll find a way.

Well, I found another way after going over to Patrick Wikström's Tim McAmis Pro Mod Camaro and
saw that they had bent tubing inside the little net. Ahh! Bent tubing!? It took 1 second to skip the
whole fuzzy idea about sliding tube inside a larger one, and wires and what not.
This is - like the roll cage - of an organic design!
The tubes are tailor made with dozens of small
bends around the cage, interior and the driver.

When your normal welding buddy doesn't show up as expected you grab the first visitor.
- Hello Micke, can you TIG-weld?
- Yes, some.
- Eh...come here, I want to show you something very interesting, in here, don't be afraid...see?

Then when professional welder Kaj Martin came to weld the zoomies on Patrick Wikström's Pro Mod,
I stole him when Patrick went out for an hour. Thanks both Kaj and Micke for a job well done!

The four corners. Uniballs are M10 (10 mm - 3/8") Tubes are 9/16" chrome moly.

Voila! Now just some paint.
It opens with an easy finger on the buckle button. The whole net collapses to the floor and makes it
really easy for me to get out of the car. I will help any eventual safety official to find the buckle
with a RED arrow sticker on the outside cage bar.

Welcome to the paint box "Windy Corner"

Painted in the same grey color as the rest of the roll cage.

And then two ends got important plastic pluppar for the finish. Found them at Wibergs in Gothenburg.

Done.
