CHASSIE - SUSPENSION
Adjusting the weight with the 4-link on SCALES
Local chassis guru in Gothenburg Jonas Mr Al Holt brought his club MDRF's Longacre
4-wheel scales
and his knowledge to The Best Damn Garage In Town. He trashed a sunny Sunday
to help the
Blackout SS look good on the starting line - and on the time slip.

"What
the #&/(% hell is this?" was the first question from Jonas. "Everything's
as wrong it
can be!" "Well...I knew we needed to scale it.." was my only
answer. Then we started to work!

Jonas Alholt was all over the car and wrenched everything he could get hold
of! I learned a lot just
watching and listening (normal human procedure for learning...but anyway...)
This all day session with Jonas changed Blackout SS from a drunk to a soldier.
These hours could save
10 testing starts at the track, or more? Thanks Jonas! Sorry that this is the
only picture I got of you...
This is Blackout SS and me on the starting line! Just less than 1/3rd of gas.
Total weight with driver is 2016 kg = 4444 lbs. Absolutely Heavyweight but a
very good balance between
front 51.6 % to rear 48.4 %. And also between left/right at the rear. 4-link
ready to Battle!!!!
Result: ABSOLUTE straight behavior!
